Hotel Housekeeper

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to meet operational standards. Conduct floor care procedures including stripping, waxing, polishing floors and carpet cleaning to preserve their appearance and safety. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold hotel standards. Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate janitorial equipment and eco-friendly cleaning products. Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability for daily operations. Experience Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, waxing, and carpet extraction is highly desirable. Previous hospitality experience that demonstrates excellent customer service skills is a plus. Knowledge of janitorial or industrial cleaning practices that promote health and safety standards. Experience managing housekeeping tasks in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
