Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and dedication will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your efforts directly contribute to delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring every corner of the hotel reflects our commitment to quality and comfort. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of hygiene and comfort. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash bins, and disinfecting surfaces. Perform detailed floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors to ensure a polished appearance across all hotel zones. Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products efficiently while adhering to inventory management protocols. Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly for resolution. Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate equipment such as industrial vacuums and floor scrubbers to ensure thorough sanitation. Support housekeeping management by assisting with training new team members and maintaining detailed logs of cleaning activities. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning services such as janitorial work, custodial duties, or industrial cleaning environments; hotel experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning methods. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude toward workplace safety and cleanliness. Previous housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required.
