Housekeeping Lead-Hampton Inn & Suites Flint/Grand Blanc Flint, MI 48507 From $16 an hour - Full-time From $16 an hour - Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Lead to join our hospitality team! In this energetic role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, supervise housekeeping staff, and ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team dedicated to creating a welcoming, spotless environment for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency in a fast-paced setting. Duties Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning and high-quality service delivery Lead by example in performing cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing guest rooms and public spaces Oversee laundry operations, ensuring linens are properly cleaned, folded, and stored Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to maintain cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, motivation, and leadership Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within hotel or hospitality environments Supervising or management experience in housekeeping or related fields Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning equipment, and laundry processes Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Prior hospitality or hotel experience is highly preferred Join us as a Housekeeping Lead where your leadership transforms everyday spaces into extraordinary guest experiences!
