Hotel Housekeeper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to hospitality excellence, and experience in cleaning and custodial services. This role is vital in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment during their stay. Prior hotel experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality setting, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and hotel reputation. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, and other supplies as needed Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned Skills Prior experience in hotel housekeeping is highly desirable Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within hotels or similar hospitality environments Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality cleanliness standards Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus, demonstrating leadership or supervisory skills in similar roles Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads comfortably Exceptional communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and report issues accurately Ability to work with positive attitude and maintain a high level of performance Reliable and punctual work ethic Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly enhance guest experiences!
