Houseman We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Houseman to assist with event setup and breakdown at our banquet center. This position plays an important role in ensuring weddings, parties, corporate events, and other gatherings are properly arranged and maintained throughout each event. Responsibilities Set up and arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment according to floor plans Move furniture and equipment safely and efficiently throughout the venue Assist with room changes and event transitions as needed Break down event spaces after functions and return equipment to storage areas Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, storage areas, and common spaces Support banquet staff with additional setup or operational needs during events Ensure all setups meet safety and presentation standards Report maintenance or equipment issues to management Qualifications Ability to lift and move heavy tables, chairs, and equipment Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good teamwork and communication skills Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Previous banquet, hospitality, or event setup experience is preferred but not required Physical Requirements Frequently standing, walking, bending, and lifting Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more Comfortable working indoors and outdoors when necessary Schedule Part-time Hours vary based on event schedule

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
