Job Description
Job Summary Join our team at our new location in Jackson, MI as a Cleaning Technician and play a vital role in keeping our business a clean and safe place to work. This position focuses solely on keeping the facility in pristine condition to ensure the safety of our employees as well as the integrity of our cannabis plants. As a member of our facility team, you will implement safe cleaning procedures, ensure optimal cleanliness for our team members and daily operations, and support the overall success of our facility processes. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of our business and working spaces (including grow rooms), including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards. Maintain floors through proper care techniques like floor polishing/scrubbing to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal. Handle trash removal and basic facility upkeep (including bathrooms and office spaces). Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously to promote compliance, health and safety in all areas. Manage custodial supplies inventory and report maintenance needs to ensure smooth operations in housekeeping management. Skills Basic housekeeping skillsets Operating a floor scrubber Attention to detail/cleanliness Light inventory tracking Ability to comply with Michigan cannabis regulations Requirements Housekeeping/Janitorial experience preferred Ability to lift 40+lbs Reliable transportation
