Cleaning Technician

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing to restore shine and cleanliness. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to remove stains and maintain appearance. Maintain restroom facilities by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring overall hygiene standards are met. Dust, wipe down surfaces, and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and countertops. Use specialized cleaning tools and chemicals safely to perform tasks such as window washing and floor care. Follow established safety procedures and environmental guidelines during all cleaning activities. Complete daily cleaning logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or institutional settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and general sanitation practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, extractors, and floor scrubbers effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods throughout the shift. Familiarity with environmental services regulations and safety protocols is preferred.
