Housekeeper

As a Housekeeper, you are responsible for creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests. You will maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, contributing directly to excellent guest experience. Key Responsibilities Guest Room Cleaning Clean, dust, sanitize, and restock guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Ensure all rooms are presented according to Marriott brand standards. Guest Service Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services. Handle guest belongings with care and respect. Report any maintenance issues or lost/found items to the appropriate department. Health & Safety Follow all cleanliness guidelines, including infection control standards. Properly use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and protective gear. Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, guests, and colleagues. Teamwork Work closely with supervisors and other staff to meet daily room assignment goals. Assist in cleaning public areas, meeting rooms, and service areas when needed. Support other departments during high-demand periods. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (not always required). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina to stand, bend, push carts, and lift items up to 25 lbs. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Core Competencies Customer Focus
