Hotel Housekeeper

Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, carpets, and furniture to ensure a hygienic environment. Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance throughout the hotel. Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold hotel standards. Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality environments—hotel experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial practices. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
