General Manager Job Summary Days Inn & Suites is currently seeking reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to join our housekeeping team. We are hiring both Housekeepers and an Experienced Head Housekeeper . Team members are responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms while meeting hotel quality standards. Schedule & Availability Requirements Shift start time will be 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM , as assigned by management. Employees must be available to work weekends. Time-off requests for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays will not be approved except in emergency situations approved by management. Employees are expected to arrive on time and be ready to begin work at the scheduled start time. Duties & Responsibilities Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards. Change bed linens and replace towels as needed. Clean bathrooms, mirrors, fixtures, floors, and all room surfaces. Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors. Restock room amenities and supplies. Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items immediately. Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner. Follow all hotel safety and cleanliness procedures. Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties when requested. Productivity Expectations Housekeepers will typically be assigned 12-15 rooms per shift . Assigned rooms are expected to be completed by 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM , depending on occupancy and room conditions. Employees are expected to work efficiently while maintaining hotel cleanliness and quality standards. Rooms must pass inspection and meet hotel standards before being marked as clean. Head Housekeeper Qualifications & Responsibilities Previous hotel housekeeping experience required. Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Assign daily room boards and work schedules. Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met. Train and supervise housekeeping staff. Maintain housekeeping inventory and supply levels. Coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance departments. Ensure all housekeeping operations run smoothly and efficiently. Performance Standards Maintain a professional attitude toward guests and coworkers. Follow directions from supervisors and management. Ensure all assigned work is completed before leaving for the day. Consistently meet cleanliness, quality, and productivity expectations. Notify management immediately if assistance is needed to complete assigned rooms on time. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
Based on experience and position. Qualified candidates with hotel housekeeping experience are encouraged to apply.
