HOUSEKEEPING STAFF, A

Housekeeper is responsible for the cleaning and neat appearance of the facility.

JOB DUTIES

The duties of the position may include, but are not limited to the following areas: Clean and sanitize residents' rooms. Conduct "thorough cleanings" as scheduled. Clean and sanitize resident's and public restrooms. Clean and sanitize shower rooms. Clean and sanitize public areas (day rooms, lounges, etc.). Sweep and mop floors. Vacuum carpeted areas. Clean carpets. Strip floor wax, wax, and buff floors. Clean windows, blinds and walls. Pick up trash and debris inside building. Empty trash cans and replace with clean bags. Keep work area hazard free. Attend required in-services and training sessions. Upholds Resident Bill of Rights at all times.

Job Specification and Requirements :

Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Requires Criminal Background Check. Experience preferred. Ability to stand and/or walk approximately 7.5 hours a day. Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts. Ability to lift and reach overhead, bend, kneel, and grasp items. Tri-Cities Saginaw is looking for

Ability to lift and reach overhead, bend, kneel, and grasp items. Ability for full range of motion in arms and shoulders. Ability to work well with others. Ability to conduct self appropriately in a hotel / Hospitality setting.

Degree of Strength Required:

Exerting up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to thirty (30) pounds of force frequently, and/or up to twenty (20) pounds of force constantly to hold or move objects.

Type of Physical Demands Required:
