Job Overview We're on the lookout for a friendly and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you'll be the key to creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents or guests. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness across various areas, ensuring everything is sanitized and well-organized, and providing excellent service to those you assist. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization. Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas. Assist with floor care tasks like carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors to keep surfaces looking their best. Provide friendly customer service by responding to residents' or guests' requests promptly and professionally. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages to ensure smooth operations. Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Requirements Previous experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry handling. Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude toward residents or guests. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Experience with janitorial equipment and cleaning products is a plus. Familiarity with housekeeper management or supervisory roles is beneficial but not required. A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.
