Housekeeper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential, hospitality, and industrial settings. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and maintained according to health and safety standards. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs. Conduct floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, and polishing as needed. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms or common areas in hotels or hospitality settings. Follow established housekeeping procedures and protocols for efficient workflow. Provide exceptional service to guests by responding promptly to requests for additional supplies or assistance. Skills Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is essential. Strong understanding of housekeeping management practices in various settings such as hotels or industrial cleaning environments. Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety guidelines. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
