Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and help create a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents or guests. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across residential or hospitality settings. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct detailed floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying protective treatments when necessary. Manage laundry duties efficiently by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health standards, paying special attention to high-touch areas like doorknobs, light switches, and appliances. Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' or guests' requests promptly and professionally. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by cleaning dishes, countertops, appliances, and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventorying supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; experience in residential cleaning or hotel housekeeping is highly valued. Familiarity with commercial cleaning tools and techniques including carpet cleaning equipment and floor care machines. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment. Experience in laundry operations including handling delicate fabrics and stain removal techniques. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or guests.
