Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas in our hotel. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay, reflecting our commitment to exceptional hospitality. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and clean for each guest. Clean and restock bathrooms with necessary supplies, maintaining high standards of hygiene. Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them to the appropriate department. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles, preferably within the hospitality industry. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment for various surfaces. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Previous custodial or housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required. A positive attitude towards hospitality and customer service is essential for success in this role.
