In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment. Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of hallways and public areas. Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or cleanliness deficiencies and report them promptly. Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures using industrial cleaning equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supply inventories to support operational efficiency. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold the hotel's high standards. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles preferred; hotel experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and climbing ladders. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality service consistently. Familiarity with custodial practices and housekeeping management principles is a plus. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues accurately.
