Housekeeper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to uphold the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cleaning, custodial services, and hospitality standards. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming, safe, and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Duties Perform thorough deep cleaning of resident's rooms weekly and maintain rooms, common areas and back-of-house spaces according to established standards. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for staff and guests. Follow health and safety regulations diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for resolution. Support the overall cleanliness of the facility by adhering to janitorial protocols and industrial cleaning procedures when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment maintenance is highly desirable. Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality standards is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with an ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use. Experience managing housekeeping operations or supervising staff is a plus but not mandatory.
