We are currently hiring a Homemaker/Housekeeper to join our IPC team and support our mission of providing exceptional care and services to seniors in their homes. Wage:
$19.00-$21.50/hr. Schedule:
Full-Time, Day Shift What You'll Do:
Follow established cleaning policies and procedures. Perform housekeeping duties in a safe and sanitary manner. Complete personal laundry for residents. Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. Maintain housekeeping equipment and return it to proper storage locations. Provide exceptional customer service to residents and families in a caring and compassionate environment. Offer companionship and support to residents. Assist with light meal preparation. Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and healthful living environment. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities. Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including crouching, kneeling, and twisting. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and ethical approach. Ability to work collaboratively as a team member with other personnel, supervisors, and registered nurses. Proficiency in spoken and written English required to ensure safe patient care, accurately document in medical records, and effectively communicate with patients, families, and the care team. Physical Requirements:
Regularly use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls and reach with arms. Frequent standing, bending, and walking. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Occasional sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to communicate verbally and comprehend spoken instructions. Ability to smell and taste for food preparation and safety.
