Job Description

Cura Health is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper and Laundry Aide to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility while also assisting with laundry duties to ensure residents and patients have fresh, clean linens and clothing. Your efforts will contribute to creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment at Cura Health. This position is ideal for organized individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness and infection control in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other facility spaces in accordance with established protocols. Collect, sort, and operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing. Maintain proper storage and inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies. Dispose of waste and recyclables properly and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Adhere to infection control guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately. Support the healthcare team by ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment for all residents, patients, and staff. Follow all regulatory policies related to housekeeping, laundry, and safety. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry services, or similar roles preferred. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and laundry equipment operation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Physical capability to perform cleaning and laundry tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
