Seasonal Part-Time Housekeeper Weekday/Weekend

Seasonal Part-time Housekeeper The Fairfield Inn & Suites of Winona is hiring seasonal weekday and/or weekend housekeepers! Without the hard work and dedication of our housekeeping team our hotel would not be able to operate. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is detail oriented, thrives working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being a part of a team. If this describes you, we would love for you to apply! Our seasonal part time schedule includes Sunday to Saturday shifts starting May to end of October. Weekend shifts are between 5-7 hours a day (morning) depending on number of rooms. After the season ends, there may be an option to stay but we are looking for seasonal at the moment.

Requirements:

• Ability to work both individually as well as in a team setting
• Must have open availability on Sundays
• Optimistic attitude

Job Expectations:

• Clean guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounge areas, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas to ensure that brand standards are kept.
• Carry linens, towels, bathroom items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
• Sweep and scrub floors, using brooms, mops and scrub brushes.
• Dust and polish furniture.
• Strip and make beds.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom essentials.
• Wash coffeemakers, replace coffee and condiments.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using a vacuum cleaner and/or carpet shampooer.
• Keep housekeeping storage areas and cleaning carts well stocked, clean, and organized.
• Request repair services from Maintenance.
• Observe all precautions required to protect hotel and guest property.
• Report any damage or theft to supervisors.
• Turn in any left or found articles to supervisors.
• Thrive to meet and abide by Fairfield Inn & Suites brand standards.
