Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team, committed to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and guests alike. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks across residential or commercial Hotel Rooms and spaces, ensuring high standards of sanitation, safety, and presentation. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall satisfaction of those we serve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in housekeeping while working in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and waxing as needed Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal areas regularly Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or equipment safely using manual handling techniques Manage janitorial supplies inventory and restock cleaning materials efficiently Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' or guests' requests promptly and professionally Follow established housekeeping procedures for safety, security, and quality assurance Support outdoor work activities such as gardening or debris removal when required Contribute to housekeeping management efforts by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor waxing Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Familiarity with sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience with laundry operations and custodial responsibilities is advantageous Outdoor work experience is a plus for roles involving exterior maintenance or landscaping tasks Join our team to help create pristine environments that inspire comfort and satisfaction!
