Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Follow established sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Utilize specialized floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality. Ensure proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with environmental services guidelines. Use janitorial equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation. Support infection control practices by maintaining high standards of cleanliness in sensitive areas like hospitals or clinics. Experience Prior experiance preferred but not needed. Demonstrate and perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently. Previous experience housekeeping roles will be considered a strong asset.
