Description:
Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment to prevent the spread of infections, disinfecting patient rooms, sanitizing high touch surfaces, handling medical waste, and restocking supplies and follow infection control protocols. cleans, mops, dusts furniture and equipment; cleans window ledges, empties trash baskets, and arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion; sinks, mirrors, showers, and similar equipment; replenishes supplies of soap and paper products, polishes and cleans doors and windows; keeps utility rooms clean by moving items and getting behind them, clean all edges corners and cracks, and sweeping and mopping floors, Clean dismissal rooms as needed, performs a variety of related duties.
Requirements:
The housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting to ensure the highest quality of services. The housekeeper must be willing to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis and perform tasks despite frequent interruptions. Attend in-service and other required meetings. Housekeepers must work closely with other departments. Privacy maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA Follow infection control protocols, proper use of personal protective equipment. Teamwork, Commitment and Communication
