Zumbehl Road, Saint Charles, MO 63303 $16.50 an hour $16.50 an hour We're in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, and performing other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly organized professional!
Compensation:
$16.50 hourly
Responsibilities:
Respond to general inquiries from guests Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel's standard before guests arrive Track rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed At Candlewood Suites, we follow the IHG Way of Clean standards.
Team members are expected to:
Clean and service guest rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and public areas Make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all surfaces Restock towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies Report maintenance issues or damaged items promptly Follow all hotel safety and security procedures Ensure rooms meet IHG Brand Standards before releasing them for guest arrival Pay close attention to high-touch surfaces and overall room presentation Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager Ensure extended stay kitchens are properly cleaned, including refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, and countertops Maintain housekeeping carts, supply closets, and cleaning equipment in an organized and stocked condition Respond to guest requests in a professional and timely manner Maintain consistency and cleanliness standards at all times
Qualifications:
Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift Positive attitude and strong work ethic required Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow daily assignments Strong time management skills and the ability to complete rooms efficiently Ability to communicate clearly with team members and management Willingness to follow brand standards, including IHG Way of Clean procedures Why Join Us Friendly, team-oriented environment focused on professionalism and respect Stable schedule at an extended stay property Opportunity for growth within the hotel Employee discounts and benefits are available No-drama, respectful workplace culture focused on teamwork and accountability About Company At Ark Hospitality, we believe great guest experiences start with great team members.
