This position supports the housekeeping and maintenance teams by ensuring all public areas, guest spaces, and back-of-house areas meet high cleanliness standards. You will interact with guests and provide a welcoming atmosphere in alignment with our property's vision, mission, and values.

Compensation:

$17.50 hourly

Responsibilities:

Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a secure environment. Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner. Support housekeeping and maintenance teams with tasks as needed. Support hotel operations as needed to maintain high service standards. Assist with floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning. Maintain the cleanliness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry areas, and exterior entrances Assist housekeeping with heavy lifting, linen transport, and trash removal Keep exterior grounds clean, including picking up litter, maintaining patio areas, and ensuring curb appeal standards are met Monitor and restock supplies in public areas and housekeeping closets Assist the maintenance team with basic tasks and work order support as needed Remove trash and ensure proper disposal throughout the property Clean windows, glass doors, and entryways to maintain a polished appearance Assist with deep cleaning initiatives Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or guest concerns immediately to management Follow all safety procedures and the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Support overall hotel operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to help ensure equipment, rooms, and public areas remain in good working condition Perform carpet shampooing and deep floor cleaning as assigned Clean and maintain floor grout in public areas and high-traffic spaces

Qualifications:

No prior experience or training required; on-the-job training provided. Friendly and service-oriented attitude. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Ability to follow simple written and verbal instructions. Able to work in varying conditions, including exposure to cleaning materials and occasional outdoor tasks. Previous housekeeping, maintenance, or janitorial experience preferred but not required Must be able to perform basic maintenance tasks (such as replacing light bulbs, assisting with minor repairs, and reporting maintenance issues) Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Reliable, punctual, and able to follow daily task assignments Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules Basic understanding of cleaning tools, equipment, and safety procedures Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed Why Join Us?
