Position Summary Cardinal Ritter Senior Services (CRSS), one of South County's largest nonprofit senior living communities, is seeking dependable Housekeeping Aides to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This role is responsible for daily cleaning and restocking of resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, and other assigned areas, following the standards of our Environmental Services Department. Key Responsibilities Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas according to schedule and procedures Dust surfaces, damp-wipe furniture, and empty wastebaskets Vacuum carpets to maintain cleanliness and reduce bacteria Clean and polish bathroom fixtures, metal surfaces, and porcelain Dust mop and wet mop floors in rooms and offices Spot clean walls, windows, and carpets as needed Replenish room supplies and clean beds during checkouts Assist with emergency spill cleanups and special requests Maintain cleanliness of assigned equipment and report repair needs Observe and report issues with furniture, fixtures, or building conditions Respond appropriately during fire drills or other emergency situations Complete daily checklists to verify completion of assigned duties Perform other duties as assigned in alignment with CRSS's mission Skills & Competencies Knowledge of infection control, hand hygiene, and enhanced barrier precautions Ability to vacuum, dust, mop, and perform other physical cleaning tasks Dependable, thorough, and detail-oriented work ethic Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed Physical and mental ability to meet the demands of the role Why Join Us At CRSS, we honor the dignity and wisdom of our residents and strive to create a clean, comfortable space where they feel safe and cared for.
