Responsibilities Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, supplies, and cleaning materials to guest rooms and public areas efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, and other public spaces through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Support floor care activities such as carpet cleaning and polishing to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety. Ensure all service areas are well-organized, free of clutter, and properly stocked with cleaning supplies. Perform routine custodial tasks including trash removal, window washing, and minor maintenance requests to sustain a pristine environment. Collaborate with the housekeeping team to respond promptly to guest requests or special cleaning needs. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff alike. Experience Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet extraction, buffing, or polishing is advantageous. Experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments demonstrates strong custodial skills. Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service principles helps deliver exceptional guest experiences. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
