Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and a passion for creating welcoming environments. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in ensuring that all areas are clean, sanitized, and well-organized. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and presentable. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs to the management team. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with light cooking or meal preparation when required. Conduct carpet cleaning and maintain the overall appearance of carpets in designated areas. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping, custodial work, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
