Job Summary :
Performs daily Housekeeping duties inside and outside Facility under supervision of
Housekeeping Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
Sweeps, dust mops, damp/wet mops floors in hallways, offices and common areas daily Cleans soiled areas, empties trash cans, replaces can liners, cleans bathrooms, sinks, toilets and other areas Keeps equipment and work areas clean, safe organized and keeps equipment and supplies properly stored Communicates courteously with staff in other Departments to adequately meet the needs of the Residents Ensures equipment and work areas are clean, safe and orderly and all cleaning solutions are properly labeled Maintains cleanliness of all baseboards throughout the building Helps clean tables and floors in dining room and day rooms after meals Cleans and changes privacy curtains and drapery in Residents' rooms as scheduled, or as needed Cleans carpets, including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing and disinfecting
Qualifications:
Must be able to read and write at a level necessary to understand Company Policies, applicable Laws and Regulations regarding job duties; prefer previous Housekeeping experience in a long-term care Facility; must be in good physical condition and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory
