Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Hampton Team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Applicants must have open availability and weekends are mandatory . Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards. Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as needed. Change linens and make beds with attention to detail. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow safety protocols and adhere to health regulations during cleaning processes. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by management. Experience Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is beneficial. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and team members. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
