Job Description
Merry Maids is looking to hire a housekeeper to oversee day-to-day onsite operations at multiple client locations. The ideal candidate will have professional cleaning experience. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and should share our company's commitment to customer satisfaction. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative. The position is Monday-Friday from 8:30a.m.-5:00p.m. ,with a rate of $14.00/hour. After 90 days, pay rate increases to $15.00/hour. Responsibilities Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets Wash and sanitize toilets and sinks and restock disposables (e.g. soap) Wipe mirrors and windows Skills Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances Attention to detail and conscientiousness Requirements Ability to manage your time efficiently Work well unsupervised Ability to lift at least 25 pounds Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests. Must be drug free Must have a clean background check
