Job Description
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm This position plays a vital role in keeping the Peak clean, sanitized and free from potential safety hazards. The housekeeping department is responsible for assuring the highest standard of cleanliness is met. Housekeepers will engage with members as tasks are completed, creating an accommodating and friendly environment. They are provided with all necessary equipment and are expected to complete their assigned tasks on time and with high standards of professionalism. These duties may include such things as cleaning floors, vacuuming, moping, windows, restrooms to include showers, toilets and sinks, replenish toiletries and paper products, dusting, garbage, parking lot clean up, and any general cleaning task that may be required to meet the highest standard of cleanliness.
Working conditions and physical requirements: Exposure to chemicals, such as disinfectants, cleansers and soaps. Exposure to bodily fluids including but not limited to blood, urine and feces. Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions. Must be able to lift, bend, squat, push, pull, rotate, climb stairs.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning of all male locker rooms. Maintain a clean and tidy environment. Remove messes and dirty objects from the environment. Additional cleaning duties assigned as necessary. Be detail-oriented. Communicate regularly with co-workers and supervisors to ensure understanding of organizational and operational duties. Take direction well and work independently when appropriate. Follow the organization's safety policy and procedures. Be able to work under pressure. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to handle repetitive work responsibilities. Possess the ability to interact and handle member/guest and staff questions patiently and courteously. Ability to use all senses to ensure the cleanliness of the facility. Ability to adjust quickly to changing situations and facility needs. Dependability and reliable attendance is a MUST.Job Type:
