Basic Schedule:

Full-time position 9:00am-5:30pm ; 80 hour bi-weekly schedule (with every other weekend); 1st Shift Basic Job Description/Responsibilities for

Housekeeper:

The Housekeeper is responsible for performing assigned duties that will assist in the smooth operation of residential and support services. Stays current, knowledgeable, and abreast of the latest industry equipment, technology, and techniques in Housekeeping/ Janitorial Services. Ensures all employees are trained according to job classification and receive proper communication and training necessary in order to meet customer service standards of Holy Angels. Ensuring staff are utilizing proper safety procedures while conducting Housekeeping Duties. Optimizes use of supplies, equipment and services, ensuring a high level of quality services. Actively seeks ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care, or the services delivered. Determine deep cleaning schedule for all assigned areas of responsibility, and assigns duties to ensure satisfactory completion of the duties in a timely manner.

Required Job Skills/Experience:

HS/GED; minimum age 21, experience using a computer.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience:

Housekeeping experience in the health care environment setting. Ability to train staff on cleaning procedures to achieve success at the highest level. Any training and or certification in the Environmental field in the medical field preferred. Holy Angels is a place unlike any other.
