Job Description

Job Summary Join our team as a Country Club Houseman, where your dedication to cleanliness and hospitality will elevate the guest experience. Responsibilities will include setting up, breaking down, and maintaining banquet and event spaces to ensure successful club events. This position supports the banquet, catering, and clubhouse operations teams by arranging tables, chairs, linens, equipment, and décor according to event specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up banquet rooms, meeting spaces, outdoor event areas, and dining venues according to event orders and floor plans. Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, audiovisual equipment, and other event furnishings. Break down and clean event spaces following functions. Transport tables, chairs, and equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas and event facilities. Assist banquet staff with event preparation and service needs. Ensure all event setups meet club standards for appearance and safety. Perform routine housekeeping duties throughout the clubhouse and event venues. Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to management. Assist with special projects and club events as assigned. Provide courteous and professional service to members and guests. Qualifications Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow setup diagrams and instructions. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous banquet, hospitality, or event setup experience preferred but not required. Working Conditions Indoor and outdoor work environments. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of equipment. Fast-paced environment with changing event schedules.
