Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Guest Room Attendant and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every visitor experiences the highest standards of hospitality. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to memorable stays and positive guest feedback. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality, janitorial services, and industrial cleaning within a vibrant hotel setting. Duties Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure pristine conditions. Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to meet guest needs. Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors in guest rooms and common areas to uphold cleanliness standards. Perform routine janitorial tasks like trash removal, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting throughout the hotel premises. Conduct inspections of guest rooms to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly for resolution. Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning when handling larger-scale cleaning projects or deep cleans of public spaces. Assist with housekeeping management tasks as needed to support team efficiency and guest satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping within hotel or hospitality environments. Strong floor care skills including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning techniques. Knowledge of janitorial practices with an emphasis on sanitation and safety standards. Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently when required for deep cleans or large-scale projects. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues accurately. Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest service is essential.
