• Seasonal, Full-time Overview We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Houseman to join our hospitality team, bringing energy and attention to detail to ensure our property remains pristine, organized, and welcoming. In this vital role, you will support housekeeping operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with guest needs, and ensuring all areas meet the highest standards of hospitality.

• Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning duties across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

Execute floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance throughout the property. Assist with hotel-specific duties like delivering amenities, setting up event spaces, and supporting housekeeping staff with various tasks. Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other common areas by adhering to established janitorial standards. Support hospitality functions by helping with luggage handling, guest requests, and ensuring smooth operations during busy periods. Follow safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial procedures to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests. Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies need replenishing or repairs are required. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, waxing, carpet extraction, and maintenance. Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality environments is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supporting guest needs. Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures related to industrial cleaning and custodial work.
