Housekeeping - Hotel

Very busy motel in Maggie Valley is looking for a housekeeper. We treat our employees as family and we're looking for the right fit for us. Must be honest, dependable, have work references and reliable transportation. •Some experience as a housekeeper is required, but we will train.

Job description:

Cleaning guest rooms, laundry, and general housekeeping. Must be on time, dependable, detail oriented and honest. Must demonstrate good communication skills and provide respectful customer service. Must be able to self manage time and efficiency to complete tasks in the allotted time. Moderate to heavy physical activity while performing work duties including indoor and outdoor work. May be exposed to weather like rain, heat or cold. Ability to move unassisted to perform work duties including lifting objects up to 50 lbs, squatting, kneeling, reaching, walking and standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have vision acceptable to monitor the grade of cleaning and hearing to understand staff and guests' requests.

typical shift 9am - 3 or 4pm. Weekend and Sundays work required and willingness to work a flexible schedule.
