Executive Housekeeper / Housekeeping Supervisor Position Summary The Public Space Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of all public areas of the hotel. This role helps ensure guests experience a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment at all times while supporting Hilton and hotel service standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean and maintain all public areas including: Lobby Front entrance Public restrooms Hallways Elevators Fitness center Meeting spaces Guest laundry areas Outdoor areas and patios Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas regularly throughout the shift. Remove trash and replace liners in public areas and employee spaces. Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, doors, and windows. Monitor restroom supplies and restock paper products, soap, and other amenities as needed. Respond promptly to spills, guest requests, and cleanliness concerns. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to management immediately. Assist housekeeping team members with laundry, room cleaning, or special projects when needed. Maintain storage closets, carts, and cleaning equipment in an organized and sanitary condition. Follow all hotel safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and brand cleanliness standards. Provide friendly and professional guest service by greeting guests and assisting with basic requests. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Reliable attendance and punctuality required. Ability to communicate professionally with guests and team members. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching required. Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Schedule Requirements Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Flexible schedule including morning, evening, and occasional overnight shifts depending on business needs.
