Housekeeping Worker

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including patient rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health and safety standards, including OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, or polishing to ensure they are safe and visually appealing Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning products to ensure continuous availability Follow proper waste disposal procedures to uphold sanitation standards and environmental services protocols Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair and report issues promptly Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to janitorial work, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial cleaning or healthcare settings preferred Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and chemical handling is highly desirable Experience with floor care techniques such as stripping, sealing, waxing, or polishing is a plus Knowledge of sanitation practices specific to hospital or healthcare environments is advantageous Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery effectively Prior experience in environmental services or custodial roles that emphasize attention to detail and safety compliance Join our team today!
