Floor Care

Floor Care Part-Time, 40 hours per pay period. 2 days per week and every weekend

Summary:

We are seeking a dependable floor care worker to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors in a long-term care setting. Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily and deep cleaning of common areas Operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, floor machines, etc.) Properly handle and dispose of trash, including infectious waste Follow infection control standards and PPE guidelines Prepare rooms for new admissions, including terminal cleaning Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance issues Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or long-term care experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to follow safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies Able to lift, bend, and be on your feet throughout the day

Pay:

$17.60 - $22.00 per hour
