Overview:

Join our team at SMP Health, where we provide Christ-like care and compassion to residents. We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms. Operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops). Follow infection control and safety protocols, including proper PPE use. Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' rights. Assist with emergency procedures and participate in safety drills.

Qualifications:

Previous long-term care experience preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills. Physical ability to bend, lift, and move furniture; work on weekends/holidays as needed.
