Houseperson

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our premium brand hotel, ensuring that all common areas are cleaned, maintained, stocked and are visually appealing. This role is also a support role for housekeeping and laundry to assist in the servicing of guest rooms and the production of laundry as assigned. This position is essential for providing high-quality service to our guests and maintaining the standards of cleanliness expected in a hospitality environment. Responsibilities Clean all common areas to include lobby, swimming pool, fitness center, employee breakroom, restrooms, business center, elevators, stairways, corridors, vestibule, interior and exterior trash receptacles, parking lots, walkways, and any other areas assigned. Collect, transport and stock clean linen, towels and supplies to housekeeping closets, pool and fitness center. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the employee work areas and storage facilities, including regular cleaning of machines and workspaces. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and report any shortages to management. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling chemicals and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests. Documenting and promptly reporting any maintenance issues to supervisors. Experience Previous experience in utilities, laundry, housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment used in the hospitality cleaning process is advantageous. Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus, as it provides insight into guest expectations for cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
