Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team here at the Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott and help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of residential or commercial spaces, ensuring all areas are tidy, organized, and hygienic. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to a positive experience for everyone who enters our facilities. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently. Maintain floor care by performing tasks like carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality. Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously to promote a healthy environment for residents and visitors. Provide excellent customer service by addressing specific cleaning requests and responding promptly to residents' or clients' needs. Manage janitorial supplies inventory, restocking materials as needed to ensure uninterrupted cleaning operations. Assist with housekeeping management tasks when required, including scheduling or training new team members. Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles with a strong background in janitorial or custodial work. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable for understanding hospitality standards. Familiarity with various cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures. Experience in laundry operations and handling delicate fabrics with care. Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Pay:

$18.00 - $18.50 per hour
