Housekeeper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or hotel environments. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently while ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and spotless. Manage housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and carpet cleaning. Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented for guests or residents. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with housekeeping management duties as needed, including training new staff members on proper cleaning techniques. Prepare meals as required, adhering to dietary restrictions or preferences when applicable. Requirements Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred; experience in hotel settings is a plus. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in residential or commercial cleaning. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively to complete tasks. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
