Housekeeper

Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and hallways using proper cleaning techniques and products. Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and ensuring hygienic conditions throughout the property. Conduct room cleaning such as vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and applying appropriate treatments for different surfaces. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests, addressing concerns professionally, and maintaining a friendly demeanor at all times. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored safely after use. Support housekeeping management with inventory checks, restocking supplies, and adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles, preferably with hotel or residential cleaning backgrounds. Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and janitorial procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or clients. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely. Experience with laundry operations and handling different types of fabrics or linens is desirable. Familiarity with housekeeping management systems or commercial cleaning tools is a plus.

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
