This role ensures classrooms, offices, restrooms, and shared spaces are clean, orderly, and ready for daily operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment for students and staff. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize classrooms, bathrooms, cafeterias, hallways, gyms, and administrative offices Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and polish surfaces Empty waste containers and dispose of trash properly Restock paper products, soap, and cleaning supplies Maintain cleaning equipment and report any issues Follow school safety procedures and cleaning protocols Respond to urgent cleaning needs as necessary Support event preparation and post-event cleanup Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience is an advantage Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently Good communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements Ability to bend, lift, walk, and stand for long periods Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies Work Environment This position operates in a school setting and may require early morning, evening, or occasional weekend hours depending on school activities.
