Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Hotel Albatross. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires an individual with experience in hotel or industrial cleaning, as well as a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, adhering to established cleanliness standards. Be able to flip rooms in a timely manner to ensure all guests can check in at the standard 3pm check in time. Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for daily operations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist in the training of new housekeeping staff on best practices and procedures. Maintain a positive attitude while providing exceptional service to guests and responding to their needs. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning preferred. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and custodial duties. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
