Scotch Plains, NJ Compensation:
$16-$24 per hour Position Summary Shackamaxon Country Club is seeking dependable and hardworking Banquet Housemen to assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of club events. This position is essential to ensuring banquet spaces are prepared to club standards and that events run smoothly. Essential Responsibilities Set up banquet rooms, meeting spaces, and event areas according to event specifications. Arrange tables, chairs, linens, dance floors, staging, and other event equipment. Assist with event breakdown and room resets. Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet facilities and storage areas. Support banquet servers and event staff as needed during events. Transport equipment, supplies, and materials throughout the clubhouse. Ensure all event spaces meet club presentation standards. Follow safety procedures and proper equipment handling practices. Qualifications Previous banquet, hospitality, or event setup experience preferred. Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
Pay:
$16.00 - $24.00 per hour
