Job Description

Major Hotel Brand (Gallup, NM.) is actively seeking a talented associate for Part -Time position . If you are ENERGETIC and have a HUGE personality, we would love to have you on our team. Bring your talent…and partner with us in offering exceptional Hospitality in the Gallup Market. We are problem solvers, leaders, and pro-active doers! Accepting applications (pick up at property) for the following positions: Houseman (full time) - AM/PM/WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS (Must be Flexible & No call ins)

(MANDATORY)
  • Electrical, Plumbing, Light fixtures, Carpet cleaning, maintain outside and inside property, pool certified, help assist with sister property, a team player and experience is a plus - just to name a few.
  • Guest Service orientated, treat our guest as you would want to be treated!
  • Maintenance experience with hotels or apartments.
  • Knowledgeable of all services/features and local attractions/activities to anticipate and respond to guest inquiries
  • Proactive thinking, keeping guest Security always in mind and creating a safe, clean and friendly work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain effective organization, layout, cleanliness, upkeep and maintenance of all storage closets and facilities
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and flexible and ensure completion of all general cleaning duties as assigned; check in with supervisor for additional assignments throughout shift.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of proper maintenance and use of equipment
  • Monitor and maintain safety, cleanliness, sanitation and organization of guest rooms, corridors, housekeeping storage closets and public areas as assigned
  • Follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing of, or moving objects/materials.
  • Handle lost and found items per department and company procedures
  • Report to work on time and per posted schedule Job Requirements
  • Previous hospitality Maintenance experience a plus.
  • Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in the basic English language
  • Must be available to work, varied shifts and flexible schedules
  • Team minded and be able to provide a helping hand when available.
  • Must be able to lift 20lbs or more
  • Must be able to stand/walk more that a few hours
