Responsible for ensuring rooms are properly maintained and reporting any deficiencies to management. Reports to the Housekeeping Manager. Responsibilities Ensures the integrity of guest rooms and the contents; Cleans assigned number of guest rooms according to Company and department standards; Responsible for cleaning and stocking carts; Responsible for folding and delivering linen; Delivery of all internal and external guest requests; Maintains Hotel Hallways in between calls; Reporting any repairs that need to be done in the guest rooms or hallways; Make sure all items in the room are in working order; Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred; At least one year of work experience preferred; At least 18 years of age; Must be able to understand and speak English. Occupational Standards Ability to stand for long periods Manual dexterity Work may be required in confined area Good customer service skills Must be able to maneuver in Hotel areas, up and down stairs and reach above shoulder level Ability to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke
